Will they actually wear it?

Everyone's different, and some people won't tolerate anything on their wrist. That's worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

The bands don't have to go on a wrist. They can be worn on a lanyard, looped through a rucksack strap or fastened to a belt loop, so the information is still there without anything touching the skin.
