Registration
How do I register my band?
Option 1 (easiest on a phone): Scan the QR code on the product with your phone's camera. It will walk you through setting up an account and registering your band.
Option 2 (laptop, computer, or phone): Head to https://register.safeandsnappy.com/ and create a new account, or log in if you already have one. Then follow the steps to register your product.
Your band is active immediately once registered.
What's a Product Code or URN?
The unique identifier printed on your band, next to the QR code. It looks something like P-1125-9054. The letter at the start indicates the band type (P for Personal/Emergency, M for Medical, S for School). Can't find it? Send a photo to info@safeandsnappy.com and we'll help.
Can I register multiple bands?
Yes. You can register several bands under one account — each has its own unique Product Code and stores different information. You can also manage multiple profiles in your account if you have a large family.
Can I update my information after registering?
Yes. Head to safeandsnappy.com and log into your account, find the band in your dashboard, click "Edit" and update any details. Changes take effect immediately.
Scanning & Notifications
Do people need an app to scan my band?
No. Any smartphone camera can scan the QR code — iPhone, Android, anything with a camera. No app download required.
Does the scanner need internet access?
Yes. The scanner needs internet to view the emergency information. The band itself doesn't need any connectivity.
Will I be notified when my band is scanned?
Yes. You'll receive an email alert with the time and location (if the scanner chose to share it).
Why might the email not include location?
The scanner is asked if they'd like to share their location. If they decline or don't respond within 10 seconds, the email will say location wasn't provided. Location sharing is optional for the scanner's privacy.
Will I get an email for every single scan?
To prevent notification overload, you'll receive a maximum of 3 emails per band within any 5-minute window. Additional scans are still logged in your dashboard but won't trigger more emails.
Product & Durability
Does the band need batteries or charging?
No. It's a printed QR code — works forever without power, charging, or maintenance.
Is the band waterproof?
Yes. Our bands are designed for swimming, bathing, and everyday wear in all conditions.
What sizes are available?
Our snap bands are one-size and adjust to fit children and most adults. The sizing is 215mm length - 25mm width
Privacy & Security
Is my information safe?
Yes. Your personal details are protected. For Emergency Contact bands, only your first name, emergency contacts and any notes are displayed — your full name stays private. For Medical Alert bands, the wearer's name is shown to help emergency responders identify the person. All data is encrypted and stored securely. We comply with UK GDPR.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Log into your account and delete your registration anytime. The band will become inactive and show an "unregistered" message if scanned.
What happens if I lose my band?
Log into your account and delete the registration for the lost band, then order and register a new one. Lost bands cannot be transferred — each has a unique QR code.
Can I transfer my band to someone else?
No. Each band is linked to a specific Product Code and registration. To give a band to someone else, you'd need to delete your registration and have them create their own account and register the band fresh.

How long does delivery take?
(PLEASE NOT FOR LAUNCH 21ST DECEMBER - products wont be shipped i=until 30th December 2025) After that date and we ship within 1-2 business days. UK delivery typically takes 2-4 working days via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service.
How much is shipping?
UK: £2.75 via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked
EU: £14.99 (Standard International, 2-11 business days)
Rest of World: £23.99 (Standard International, 3-17 business days)
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to the EU (£14.99) and worldwide (£23.99). Delivery times vary by destination.
What's your returns policy?
Unused, unregistered bands can be returned within 14 days for a full refund.
